LAS VEGAS (WGNO) — The Orlando Magic defeated the New Orleans Pelicans, 91-86 Sunday night in their 2k25 Summer League matchup.

The Pelicans led by as much as 15 points in the second half but would see that lead disappear courtesy of 24 turnovers in their second summer league game.

They were outscored 31-19 in the fourth quarter.

Jordan Hawkins led the Pelicans with 8 turnovers and 24 points, knocking down 6 of his 18 field goal attempts.

Jordan Ford followed with 13 points while Karlo Matkovic added 10 points, 5 assists, and 7 turnovers in Sunday’s contest.

2024 first round selection, Yves Missi, was more aggressive in his second game with 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 blocks in 21 minutes. Second round selection, Antonio Reeves, tallied 12 points in the loss.

The Pelicans fall to 0-2 in the 2k25 Summer League.

New Orleans’ squad will be back in action Tuesday night at 9:30 p.m. against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Pelicans fourth summer league game will be Thursday night at 5 p.m. against the Memphis Grizzlies.
