The PGA Tour's Florida Swing continued this week with the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which is a signature event that offers a $20 million purse and $4 million to the winner.
Russell Henley is taking home that career-best check, chipping in for eagle at the 16th hole to take the lead at Bay Hill and holding off Collin Morikawa, who appeared invincible for much of the day but finished one shot behind Henley.
Henley, 35, last won in fall 2022 at the World Wide Technology Championship and will now take momentum to next week’s Players Championship, the biggest event on the PGA Tour.
