METAIRIE, La. — Day 3 of the New Orleans Saints training camp was a run-heavy day at practice and one that head coach Dennis Allen called “sloppy” with too many balls hitting the ground.

The team practiced in shells for the first time Friday.

Saturday will mark their first practice that will be open to fans at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center.

Practice begins at 9 a.m.
