NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Second-ranked Washington arrived Tuesday night to begin local preps for Monday night’s Allstate Sugar Bowl. The Huskies, playing in their first Sugar Bowl, play third-seed Texas.

Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer said this bowl game, with playoff implications, is different.

Texas arrives Wednesday.
