METAIRIE, La. — Three Rummel football players signed their National Letters of Intent Wednesday to play football on the collegiate level.

Darrius Davis signed with Stanford.

Payton McDonald signed with Mississippi Valley State.

Chance Joseph signed with Belhaven.

Rummel finished the regular season with four wins and entered playoffs an 18-seed on a three-game losing streak.

They upset No. 15 Northwood-Shreveport on the road, No. 2 Captain Shreve on the road, and No. 7 St. Paul’s on the road.

They fell to eventual Division I Select state champion, Catholic on the road in the semi-finals.

The Raiders traveled roughly 1,680 miles in the postseason and were a few plays away from the dome.
