NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — In the Big Easy, we love our beignets big time. And now, Disney is giving guests a piece of our delicacy with a whiff of beignets on the all-new attraction, “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.”
Disney confirmed that guests will get a whiff of beignets using “smellitzers,” which are Disney’s scent dispensers.
In addition to the beignet scent, beignets will be available at Magic Kingdom starting opening day for “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.” They will be available at Golden Oak Outpost and The Friar’s Nook.
“Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” is a New Orleans-themed ride based on the movie, “The Princess and the Frog.” The attraction will have an iconic 50-foot drop and feature original music, animatronics and well-known tunes from the movie. “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” will take over what was once “Splash Mountain.”
“Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” opens at Disney World on June 28.
