HOUSTON — Singer Harry Connick Jr. helped to lift the spirits of Harvey victims over the weekend.
The New Orleans native dropped by Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center Sunday to meet with people who were devastated by the storm. The convention center is serving as a shelter for displaced Houstonians.
Connick handed out clothing, met with first responders, volunteers and their families — and even played some sweet tunes to brighten their day.
