NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Expect one more warm and muggy day Tuesday before changes move in. Look for breezy conditions with southwest winds in the teens and 20s by the afternoon. Highs will warm into the low to mid 80s.

A cold front will move through later in the day. Most of the rain with this system will stay north and east of our area. We have the chance for a few spotty showers, especially in the northern half of the area, by later in the afternoon and evening. Most of the area will not see any rain.

After the front moves through look for cooler and drier weather for the second half of the week. Wednesday will be blustery with temperatures only in the low 70s. 40s and 50s come back for morning lows Thursday and Friday with afternoon temperatures staying pleasant in the low to mid 70s.
