NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Good Morning, New Orleans! Happy Monday and President’s Day! Chilly temperatures will continue to stick around for the next day or so before a big warm up begins.

This morning we are waking up to low 30s for areas north and west of Lake Pontchartrain. The Southshore remains warmer in the 40s! Be sure to protect any sensitive vegetation and bring any outdoor pets inside through 7 a.m. as Freeze Warnings fly.

Highs will be in only in the 60s on Monday under sunny skies. By Tuesday, temperatures are set to return to the 70s during the day with lows in the 50s overnight. This pattern will likely continue for several days with rain chances remaining fairly low.
