NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Good Morning, New Orleans! Warmer temperatures are on the way as we go through the week, and it will be feeling like mid to late spring again by Thursday.
Expect one more cool morning this morning. Temperatures are now in the low to mid 40s north and low 50s south this Tuesday morning.
Partly to mostly sunny skies will return by Tuesday afternoon, allowing temperatures to warm back into the low 70s. Then, highs will continue to warm into the upper 70s to low 80s for the rest of the week.
Rain chances stay low through Tuesday. Isolated showers are possible Wednesday and Thursday with a 20 to 30 percent chance of rain each day. Then, more widespread activity is in the forecast Friday through Sunday with rain chances at 50 to 60 percent. There is still a question as to where the heaviest rain sets up through the weekend. It’s possible a lot of it stays just north of our area but that will be something to watch over the next few days.
