NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Relief from the humidity is on the way as a cold front pushes through the area during the day on Friday. Afternoon temperatures will still be hot but you will notice how much drier it feels. That low humidity lasts for about 48 hours before the front lifts back north and moisture comes back during the day Sunday.
Look for a warm day still for your Friday with upper 80s. Temperatures will cool to around 60 to the north with upper 60s south.
The weekend looks pretty good, especially Saturday. More clouds move in Sunday with temperatures in the low 80s.
Expect unsettled weather early next week. Several rounds of rain look possible starting on Monday.
