NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Rain is moving east Wednesday evening and we are waiting on the drier air to filter in. Once that happens it will feel much nicer over the next few days.

Drier air filters in tonight behind the front with lows in the low to mid 50s by Wednesday morning. Wednesday looks blustery with winds gusting into the 20s and temperatures only in the low 70s. Expect mid 70s by Thursday.

In terms of low temperatures, expect cooler mornings ahead, especially on Thursday and Friday, with lows dipping into the low 40s in some areas.
