NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — More warm weather is on the way through the middle of the week. Expect lows Tuesday morning to only drop into the mid to upper 60s. Highs will once again reach to around 80 on Tuesday with upper 70s Wednesday before a front moves in. Winds are also expected to pick up Tuesday through Thursday, with gusts up to 25 mph.

Isolated showers will be possible late Wednesday as our next cold front moves through, but widespread heavy rain is not expected. Rain chances are only at 20 to 30 percent Wednesday with dry conditions returning Thursday. Thursday will see a cooldown with low to mid 60s for highs and 40s and 50s for lows.

Friday rain chances move back in and it looks like we could see unsettled weather with off and on rain chances for a few days into early next week.
