NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Mostly quiet weather will continue to move in over the next few hours as the upper level system pushes east. We could see a few more showers tonight as the upper level feature moves east, but the best chance of that will be north of I-12 and most of the area will stay dry.

Thursday will be breezy and drier with winds gusting into the 20s for much of the day and potentially even into the 30s. Look for temperatures to reach the low to mid 70s by the afternoon. Lower humidity will allow for pleasant temperatures with upper 40s to low 50s both Friday and Saturday morning.

Nice weather with low humidity will continue through the weekend. Highs will be in the upper 70s Friday and then back in the low 80s Saturday and Sunday.
