NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A weak frontal boundary is moving towards the area Monday morning from the north. This will make its way through during the afternoon and evening time frame. As the front moves in we will see scattered showers and a few storms develop with it. These will be hit or miss around the area.
Temperatures will be in the low 90s before any rain pops up. After today it does not look like we have much rain chance through the rest of the week. Expect mostly sunny conditions with low to mid 90s each day through Friday. Some areas may climb to the upper 90s by Friday afternoon.
Humidity does drop just a little behind this front in the northern half of the area. That will mean we could see a few locations reach the upper 60s for lows Wednesday and Thursday mornings north of I-12.
