NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — It is beautiful around the area Wednesday and that trend will continue for another day before changes start to move in.
Look for warmer conditions overnight with lows in the mid to upper 40s to low 50s across the arae. Expect another mild day on Thursday with upper 60s to low 70s across the area.
Clouds increase on Friday ahead of the next storms system. Right now it looks like we will see some showers Friday into early Saturday. However the main part of this system will stay offshore, so we see a lot less rain overall than we have with the past couple of chances.
This does bring cooler air back into the area for the weekend though. Highs will be in the mid 60s Friday but only in the 50s Saturday and Sunday, and overnight lows will approach freezing in the northern areas by Sunday or Monday morning.
