Here’s the latest look at Danny. More impressive development this morning as it was upgraded to a category 3 storm with winds of 115 mph. The eye has closed up some on the most recent visible shot, and you could be seeing the first real impact of the dry air on the southwest side. The forecast calls for the storm to weaken as it heads towards Puerto Rico. Still some uncertainty on the track 4-5 days out, although right now Chief Meteorologist Hank Allen says the most likely track would be an eventual turn to the north towards south Florida or the Bahamas.
