NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Another batch of rain will be moving across the area Friday night before fading out early Saturday morning. Temperatures will stay in the 60s overnight.

Saturday will be mostly rain free around the area through the first part of the day. Expect isolated showers and storms to pop up by later in the afternoon and evening, but these will be spotty with chances only around 30-40%. Temperatures will be warm around 80 Saturday.

Sunday will be the next round of rain and storms. During the morning time frame a large batch of storms will be moving across the area. Expect heavy rain with gusty winds. Some severe level winds will be possible. This moves out of the area by Sunday afternoon as cooler air filters in for the early part of next week.
