NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A relatively uneventful week is on the way after all the storms and severe weather last week. A ridge is building over the northern Gulf in a pattern like what we would see through the middle of summer, and that is going to limit rain chances going forward.

Look for upper 80s to low 90s today through the week. We will likely see temperatures climb a bit more by the weekend once the ground dries out from recent rainfall.

Overnight lows will stay in the low 70s. Some patchy fog will be possible during the early morning time frame through the middle of the week.
