NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Monday will be very hot and likely even hotter than the past couple of days. Temperatures in the mid to upper 90s along with humidity levels will make it feel like it is above 110 in many areas.
An excessive heat warning is in effect for most of the area to start the week.
We will likely see another day of mid to upper 90s on Tuesday with very little rain chance either day. By Wednesday we start to see a few more clouds pop up with the chance for isolated storms. Rain chances still won’t be that high, but temperatures will at least be slightly lower with low 90s.
Overall a pretty typical summer pattern is on the way through the second half of the week, with no real good rain chance anytime soon.
