A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for areas of New Orleans East until 11:15. 1-2 inches of rain have fallen and several more are possible as heavy rain continues over the next hour.
Significant street flooding could occur in these areas. As always avoid driving through flooded areas and if you can avoid driving in these areas until heavy rain passes it would be a good idea.
Scattered storms will continue off and on through the day.
