NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A dense fog advisory is now in effect until 10AM Saturday for the entire area. This will likely be issued again Saturday night. We have a lot of humidity and not much wind so cloud cover and fog will be stubborn to clear out Saturday. Some of that fog could be dense at times so be careful driving. Saturday night and Sunday morning could also see locally dense fog develop.
Rain chances over the weekend will continue in an isolated fashion with showers few and far between both Saturday and Sunday. Look for the rain chance to be around 30-40%. Temperatures warm back into the low to mid 70s.
Higher rain chances move back in Monday and Tuesday for a soggy start to the week. Some rain Tuesday could be locally heavy.
