NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Good Morning, New Orleans and a Happy Good Friday! Our forecast for this morning is chilly as we welcome 40s across Northshore and Southshore locations with 50s throughout New Orleans proper! Once again, it will be beautiful outside this afternoon on both sides of the lake!

Temperatures will jump up about 30 degrees in most spots, reaching the 70s this afternoon after lunch. Your layers will be best when getting dressed. High pressure remains locked in place, so clear, blue skies and wall to wall sunshine will help warm us up quickly! Winds remain light though a shift from winds out of the north to winds out of the east, then southeast will transition shortly.

Clouds return late Friday night before humidity begins gradually increasing tomorrow to next week. We feel noticeable differences Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Rain chances will stay away until early next week before clearing out ahead of Wednesday at the Square.

Enjoy yet another perfect forecast for not only Good Friday but Easter weekend as a whole!
