Good Morning, New Orleans! A warm, humid, and cloudy week lies ahead.

This morning, we are waking up to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures dipping into the upper 60s across a few spots. Southeast winds are around 10 mph, occasionally gusting higher.

As the morning starts off a bit cloudy, we’ll gradually see clearing with partly sunny conditions. Highs will rise into the low 80s with southeast winds picking up to 10-15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph. As winds bring in more moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, we’ll see humidity building throughout the week.

Wednesday through Friday will likely be mostly cloudy or overcast with highs in the low to mid 80s and lows in the upper 60s. Anticipate a copy and pasted forecast for Wednesday with great outdoor concert conditions tomorrow night. Skies are forecast to stay mostly cloudy Saturday with a slight chance of showers. Highs will remain in the lower 80s with a 20 percent chance of rain.

Rain chances jump up above 50 percent on Sunday with scattered rain, thunderstorms, and showers, especially in the afternoon and evening. Highs will be a little cooler with the extra cloud cover and rain-cooled air, only topping out in the mid 70s.
