NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — No real changes on the way over the next few days as we wait for a cold front Sunday to move through. Overnight lows will continue to be well above normal with the chance for some patchy fog during the early morning hours. Expect mid to upper 80s on Friday with low to mid 80s Saturday. We could see a few passing showers Saturday but nothing major.

The next decent rain chance comes on Sunday as a cold front moves in. Expect scattered showers and storms during the first half of the day especially.

Lower humidity and cooler air will filter in behind this front and it should feel nice by Sunday night. Pleasant conditions will be in place for the first part of next week before humidity starts to move back in.
