NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A cold front is moving into the area Tuesday evening with much nicer weather on the way behind it. Look for some scattered showers through the evening, especially north of I-10 and in southern Mississippi. Rainfall amounts will be light though and a lot of the area won’t see any rain.
Drier air filters in tonight behind the front with lows in the low to mid 50s by Wednesday morning. Wednesday looks blustery with winds gusting into the 20s and temperatures only in the low 70s. Expect mid 70s by Thursday.
In terms of low temperatures, expect cooler mornings ahead, especially on Thursday and Friday, with lows dipping into the low 40s in some areas.
