NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Rain chances will be going back down through the week giving us a chance to dry out over the next few days. The one caveat to this could be Tuesday afternoon. Look for just spotty pop-up type activity today by mid to late afternoon.
The active pattern that has been over our area should be shifting north through the week. This will keep the track of most of those storm clusters to our north as well. However some models are putting one more storm cluster over our area through the day Tuesday. If this happens we will see another round of heavy rain. Right now it looks like a scenario where we have to see on Tuesday morning how things are shaping up.
After that though expect just isolated rain potential Wednesday through Friday. This will mean temperatures climb back into the low 90s each day.
