NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Cool and dry air has settled into the Gulf Coast region in the wake of a cold front that passed through on Saturday.
Morning lows have dropped into the mid and upper 30s across the Northshore with low to mid 40s south. High temperatures will be cool, topping out at around 60 degrees.
High temperatures should gradually warm back into the upper 60s Tuesday with low to mid 60s returning Wednesday and Thursday.
Rain chances are expected to remain low for the next few days. High pressure will provide generally calm conditions for the upcoming work week with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.
Showers are forecast to return Saturday and Sunday ahead of our next front, with rain chances each day.
