NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Good Morning, New Orleans! Temperatures will be returning to normal over the next few days as rain chances increase Thursday. Right now, we are waking up to more clouds with lows dipping into the upper 40s north and low to mid 50s south.
We are continuing to keep an eye out for late Thursday into Friday as a disturbance coming from the Southwest U.S. could bring stormy conditions.
While most of the stronger storms should stay offshore, there’s a chance we might see some action along the coastal areas, with gusty winds and possibly even some hail.
The weekend, however, looks to be much calmer as that system moves away. Temperatures will start to climb into the 70s, and in some spots, we might even touch 80 degrees. Perfect weather for outdoor plans!
Looking ahead to next week, it seems like we might have another system moving in, but the details are still a bit fuzzy. We’ll keep you updated as we get closer to it.
