NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — More large batches of rain and storms are moving out of eastern Texas Friday morning and across the western part of Louisiana. These will have a better chance of producing rain around the area then we saw yesterday. However it still does not look like we see widespread heavy rain amounts. The best chance of rain will be late morning through early afternoon.
Temperatures will stay cooler Friday with the rain and clouds in the low 80s. Look for mid 80s for highs through the weekend. Right now the weekend looks fairly dry with just hit or miss showers and storms popping up during the day. However it’s still possible to get another cluster of rain to pop up over the next couple of days.
Next week will be mostly dry with upper 80s each day.
