NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Good Morning, New Orleans and a Happy Friday! We saw a cold front push through late Tuesday, leaving 40s and 50s behind overnight as the coolest air continued filtering in! This morning, we are closer to 50, itself, or 60 across the Northshore and Southshore. Anticipate a 30 degree jump in some spots before we reach our afternoon highs today, near 80 degrees.
Northerly flow continues to make it feel even cooler outside with some wind chills across our area picking up later today. The sun is shining fully, and our forecast for your afternoon looks absolutely glorious. Temperatures will range from mid 70s to upper 80s both this afternoon and tomorrow! Another round of gorgeous weather returns Saturday with additional clouds building in again into early next week!
Conditions will be beautiful again tonight, as well, just make sure you grab that outer layer as temperatures will fall into the 70s after sunset.
