BATON ROUGE – On Tuesday evening, Governor John Bel Edwards held a media briefing to discuss the latest on Hurricane Laura.

Laura is currently scheduled to impact Texas and West Louisiana as a Category 3 hurricane.

Also, Gov. Edwards will make an announcement on Wednesday regarding the reopening phase of the state. The current phase two order expires on Friday.
