NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — More clouds on the way today for your Friday and also more wind but both will help to offset the heat and humidity. Look for afternoon temps in the low to mid 80s. Winds will be out of the southeast around 15 and gust into the low 20s occasionally.
Temperatures will climb into the low to mid 80s each through the weekend. Overnight lows struggle to drop below 70 through the weekend.
For the most part we will avoid the rain through the weekend. We could see a few spotty showers on Sunday but these chances are small. There may be some showers and storms around early next week but coverage does not look widespread at the moment. These chances look to come in Monday and Tuesday.
