NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Quiet weather continues Tuesday with high pressure overhead. Expect some daytime heating clouds during the late morning and early afternoon time frame. These will thin out by the evening. Otherwise expect another warm and muggy day.
Look for upper 80s to low 90s today through the week. We will likely see temperatures climb a bit more by the weekend once the ground dries out from recent rainfall. Most of the area will see low 90s Friday through Monday.
Overnight lows will stay in the 70s through the rest of the week keeping it very warm. Humidity will prevent temperatures from dropping too much at night.
