NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Good Morning, New Orleans! Big changes are on the way today as a cold front moves in later this afternoon!

Lows this morning are only in the mid to upper 60s or 70s. Highs will once again climb into the mid to upper 70s on Wednesday before the cold front moves in. Look for breezy conditions tonight with a bit less wind just ahead of the front.

Isolated showers will be possible Wednesday afternoon as the front moves through, but anything that develops will be light. You will notice when the front moves through though because winds will pick up and it will get much cooler. Most of the area will be in the 50s by Wednesday evening and lows Thursday will drop into the mid to upper 40s. Thursday will also be chilly with highs only in the low 60s.

Friday rain chances move back in and it looks like we could see unsettled weather with off and on rain chances for a few days into early next week. Friday looks like the most widespread rain at this point with hit or miss activity over the weekend.
