NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Temperatures will be chilly again early tonight but then will begin to warm overnight ahead of the next storm system that will move in Thursday. Look for these numbers to drop below freezing along and north of I-12, but not as cold as the past few nights. After that we will actually warm through Thursday morning.
Thursday will be a much warmer day as that next system approaches. Look for mid to upper 60s across the area as clouds increase. Rain chances will be very spotty since there won’t be much moisture for this to work with.
Cooler weather starts to filter back in Friday with highs in the 50s. More hard freeze conditions will move in for the weekend, mainly in the northern half of the area. Look for low 20s both Saturday and Sunday mornings north of I-10.
