NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Temperatures will continue to be on the mild side over the next few days, with slightly cooler mornings by the weekend.

Some patchy fog will be possible overnight due to the warm temperatures and high humidity. However, the fog will likely be isolated to areas with lower wind speeds. Otherwise, skies will gradually become mostly cloudy overnight into Thursday.

Expect warm, breezy conditions throughout the day tomorrow with high temperatures topping out in the mid to upper 70s. An isolated shower or two cannot be ruled out, but rain chances remain slim.

A weak front will pass through by early Friday. Clouds will quickly clear out and temperatures will not drop too much, only a few degrees, with highs remaining in the low to mid 70s through the weekend. Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday before partly cloudy skies return Monday. Expect low to mid 70s over the weekend.

Temperatures will continue to climb next week. Monday through Wednesday, highs are expected to reach the upper 70s for most of the area with a few locations getting close to 80 degrees.
