ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Part of St. Bernard Parish will experience a water outage on Wednesday, May 29.

St. Bernard Parish Government officials said the outage will impact the Shell Beach area and start at 9 a.m.

They said residents on Yscloskey Highway, West Indies Drive, Caribbean Key, Alluvial Key, Islenos Key, Black Beard Key and Canary Island Key will experience the outage for about one hour while crews work on repairs.

Parish government officials said a precautionary boil water advisory will be put in place once the planned outage is over.
