NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A Tennessee man, who was arrested in New Orleans following a bank robbery in the Gentilly, has been indicted.

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana reports that on March 1, 62-year-old Bart Green of Nashville allegedly robbed a Regions Bank on Elysian Fields Avenue. He’s accused of taking $2,000.

With the help of the Violent Crime Abatement Investigation Team, the New Orleans Police Department and the Louisiana State Police, FBI agents were able to arrest Green shortly after the robbery.

Green was indicted on March 22, and faces the possibility of 20 years in prison, up to a $250,000 fine, up to three years of supervised release and will be required to pay a mandatory special assessment fee of $100 if convicted, according to the attorney’s office.
