BELLE CHASSE, La. (WGNO) — Officials with the Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project have announced the toll rates for crossing the Belle Chasse Bridge.

According to a release, collections will start once construction on the bridge is complete.

Plaquemines Parish residents with a GeauxPass will pay 25 cents to cross the bridge.

The toll rates for non-Plaquemines Parish residents will vary by the size of the vehicle.

Bridge officials said the toll rates for non-Plaquemines Parish residents are as follows:

  • Class one vehicles: $1.10 with a GeauxPass and $2.20 without a GeauxPass
  • Class two vehicles: $3.66 with a GeauxPass and $4.76 without a GeauxPass
  • Class three vehicles: $7.33 with a GeauxPass
  • Large trucks without a GeauxPass: $8.42

Construction on the new bridge is expected to be completed in the spring.
